What We Optimised
The Colorado 2.8 DMAX engine responds very well to a custom calibration. The factory tune is conservative — it leaves significant torque on the table to account for the worst-quality fuel in markets where Holden sold this engine. Our remap is developed specifically for Australian 98 RON diesel conditions.
Many Colorado drivers are disappointed when towing, overtaking or doing long highway runs. The factory tune leaves mid-range torque suppressed. Our calibration releases that torque where you actually feel it — between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm — while keeping EGT targets and injection pressures inside factory limits.
Fuel economy typically improves by up to 20% at highway cruise because the engine reaches its target torque at lower fuel quantities when combustion efficiency is properly calibrated.

Properly calibrated combustion means less fuel is burned to reach the same torque at cruise. Colorado owners consistently report 8–20% better highway fuel economy after the remap — with no hardware changes required.
Every remap is verified on our in-house Mainline dyno. You receive the actual before/after charts with your car's numbers.
Your factory file is backed up before we start. We can restore the original tune any time — for dealer service or trade-in.
