What We Optimised
The Mazda BT-50 2.2L is a lighter, more economical alternative to the 3.2L — and at 202,000 km, this example demonstrates exactly why high-mileage diesels are still excellent remap candidates.
High-mileage engines often produce slightly lower stock dyno numbers than new cars due to minor wear and carbon accumulation. The remap calibrates fuelling and boost around the engine as it actually runs today — often recovering headroom that has been gradually lost.
After full calibration, this BT-50 gained 25hp and 60Nm. The owner reported noticeably better fuel economy on highway runs — estimated 10–12% improvement — and a smoother throttle response that made the car feel more refined despite its age.

Properly calibrated combustion means less fuel burned to reach the same torque at cruise. Most owners report 8–15% better highway fuel economy after the remap — with no hardware changes required.
Every remap is verified on our in-house Mainline dyno. You receive the actual before/after charts with your car's numbers.
Your factory file is backed up before we start. We can restore the original tune any time — for dealer service or trade-in.
