What We Optimised
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport 3.0L V6 TDV6 diesel is a well-engineered platform with significant remap headroom. This 2011 example came in at 68,000 km producing 131hp and 506Nm at the wheels — respectable for a luxury SUV, but well short of what the engine is capable of.
The Stage 1 ECU remap calibrated boost pressure, fuel delivery, cam timing, and lambda across the full rev range to safely maximise output. The result was a substantial 54hp and 186Nm gain — one of the larger percentage improvements we see on a single-turbo V6 diesel.
Post-remap the Sport produces 185hp and 692Nm at the wheels — a 41% power increase and 37% torque improvement. Highway overtaking, grade climbing, and towing ability are all transformed without any physical modifications.
Raised and shaped to match the compressor map — no surge, no lag
Common rail pressure optimised for combustion efficiency across the rev range
Injection timing advanced at mid-range for better torque response
Air-fuel ratio monitored and calibrated on the dyno — not estimated
Throttle response recalibrated — no dead spot off idle, linear and predictable
Conservative exhaust gas temperature ceiling maintained throughout
Properly calibrated combustion means less fuel burned to reach the same torque at cruise. Most owners report 8–15% better highway fuel economy after the remap — with no hardware changes required.
Every remap is verified on our in-house Mainline dyno. You receive the actual before/after charts with your car's numbers.
Your factory file is backed up before we start. We can restore the original tune any time — for dealer service or trade-in.
Stock exhaust, stock injectors, stock turbo. All gains come from the calibration — nothing on your car needs to change.
